Our Garden

May 6, 2008 Planting Seeds

This year we decided to do a garden. We've talked about it for years. Even bought and returned seeds, I think more than once. But, we're really doing it this year. In March I planted some things inside. And, I've transplanted them to a little bigger pot since then. We are working very hard on trying to get the garden going. We had to til up grass, which should've been done last fall, but alas we waited until this spring. So, we're trying to get all the grass out, get the soil ready, and get everything planted. It's a slow process. Not to mention that the "small" space my husband allotted is only 30x40. I'm sure this is small for some of you, but it's HUGE in my book! However, we have been working together on it, and I'm enjoying the hang with hubby time. I'm also excited to see some of these things finally growing and hopefully we'll be eating them too!
