Hello, My name is Jilann Carlson, a homeschooling mother of three girls. Living in Idaho is a dream come true for us! Homeschooling in Idaho just makes the
dream that much better!! Our family has loved this part of the country and all
that Idaho has to offer as a state and as a homeschool-friendly place. Northern Idaho blends a perfect mixture of urban amenities with the rural beauty and natural wildlife that offer homeschooling families everyday learning experiences in a beautiful, unspoiled setting. We have explored the nearby amusement theme park, Silverwood, which has terrific roller coasters; we've skiied nearby Lookout Pass, a family-friendly, budget-friendly ski area; we go boating on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene; we raise goats and rabbits and even a peacock! This year we had the biggest garden ever and we have a great co-op, dance team and theatre group. Read more on what Northern Idaho offers.

and many organizations and activities that can enhance your schooling
opportunities.
My site offers information to families who may be considering relocating to Idaho in order to homeschool their children. I have provided information regarding the Idaho homeschooling laws as well as offering helpful resources where interested parents can find homeschool associations, co-ops, and other educational
